Step 4 - Review and Publish Assignment

The last step in creating an assignment is reviewing and publishing it.

  1. Select how you want to publish your assignment. You can publish the assignment to
    1. all of your sections including those sections linked to other instructors.
    2. all of your sections only
    3. or to the current section only.

      Note: Republishing an assignment linked to other sections overwrites all policies you have set in Step 3. Homework Manager does however display options to prevent overwriting the Available and Due Dates as well as Time Limits for other sections.
  2. Review your assignment policies.   3. Review your questions. Click the Review Questions link or reveal icon<a onClick="window.open('/olcweb/cgi/pluginpop.cgi?it=gif::::/sites/dl/free/0000065899/564496/icon_reveal.gif','popWin', 'width=NaN,height=NaN,resizable,scrollbars');" href="#"><img valign="absmiddle" height="16" width="16" border="0" src="/olcweb/styles/shared/linkicons/image.gif"> (1.0K)</a> to view a list of all the assignment questions and assigned point values.
  4. Click Publish Assignment to publish the assignment to your course section(s).

You are returned to the Assignment list. The course status will be listed as Show meaning it is now viewable by your students.  They can begin the assignment immediately if your assignment policies have been set accordingly.
