Academic Advisory Board

An Academic Advisory Board member primarily seeks to ensure the educational value of the issues and articles used in our anthologies for each area of study.

The Board Members are typically comprised of respected professors teaching in the book’s subject area. Board members suggest and vet potential articles for the next edition of the book, make recommendations for adding or dropping issues or topics, and have the opportunity to provide direct input to the author. It is through this advisory board function that our series have maintained their reputation as outstanding instructional tools for more than 30 years.

While the role is not a compensated one, it is from the Advisory Boards that we first look to find Academic Editors for books in our series when required. Each member is recognized in the introductory pages of each volume and they receive complimentary copies of new editions immediately after publication.
