Dr. A. N. Sinha is Professor of Mechanical Engineering at BIT, Mesra, Ranchi. He did his graduation from Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology, Allahabad in 1979; postgraduation from Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad, and Ph.D. from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, in 1994. After graduation, he worked in Bokaro Steel Plant for four years before switching over to academia. He has been involved in teaching and research for the last 23 years in various Indian Technical Institutes like BIT Sindri, ISM Dhanbad and PEC Chandigarh. He has been associated with the development of curriculum, teaching and research in computer graphics, CAD and reverse engineering streams for over ten years and also has several publications in international journals of repute to his credit. He has been an expert member/advisor on a number of Govt. of India bodies. Currently, he is extensively engaged in research projects of national agencies in the area of modelling and analysis of mechanical systems.

Arun Dayal Udai, Arun Dayal Udai graduated in Marine Engineering from Marine Engineering and Research Institute, Kolkata, in 1999. He completed his Masters in Design of Mechanical Equipments from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, in 2006. After graduation he served as Mercantile Marine Engineer Offi cer with the Anglo Eastern Ship Management Company, Hong Kong, for three years. He has hands-on experience of working through hardware and software for end-to-end Ship’s IC Engine driven propulsion plant. He has programmed several realistic computer graphics algorithms and mastered various CAD packages. He has designed several technical models at various levels. His major interests include Reverse Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, Programming, Modelling and Automation. Currently, he is working on a Govt. of India assigned research project on CAD modelling of human limbs using Reverse Engineering Method at BIT, Mesra.
