NEELAKANTAN RAMACHANDRAN is a management consultant, based in Kerala. He joined Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta immediately after completing the doctoral program. He went to AIT Bangkok as a Visiting Professor in 1999 and took the position of Chief Internal Auditor in 2002 at AIT. His areas of interest include financial structure of industries, corporate financial accounting, and strategic cost management.

RAM KUMAR KAKANI is a Professor of Finance, SP Jain Centre of Management, Singapore. Earlier he has been on the Faculty, XLRI Jamshedpur and a Visiting Faculty at some of the IIMs. He was a visiting scholar at Copenhagen Business School, Denmark. His work has been supported by Aditya Birla Research Center of London Business School. He is ranked among the top 1% of SSRN authors. His areas of interest include Corporate Finance, Corporate Strategy, and Financial Analysis.
