Confidence interval  A range of values constructed from sample data so that the parameter occurs within that range at a specified probability. The specified probability is called the level of confidence
Point estimate  The value, computed from sample information, which is used to estimate the population parameter.
Point estimator  An estimator of a population parameter such that each of its possible outcomes is a single number (such as 4.1 or - 3.2).
