Directions: Do you have any words or word types that you consistently misspell? Check over your most recent corrected papers if need be. List the misspellings and consult an online dictionary, such as WordWeb, to get the correct spelling.

Directions: Does bad spelling really matter? Should an instructor lower your grade because of it? What's the difference as long as he or she knows what you mean? Do you use a spell-checker when you use a word processor? What are the limitations of spell-checking programs?
