This lesson takes a more detailed look at the process of proposing and planning a multimedia project. At the end of the lesson, the students will be able to:
Determine the scope of a multimedia project
Schedule the phases, tasks, and work items required to complete a project
Estimate the cost, timeline, and tasks required to complete a project
Write and structure the elements of a multimedia project proposal
Assembling a plan and projecting the needs and costs for a multimedia project can be a daunting challenge. However, successful and accurate planning is critical to the successful completion of a project. Although planning has been discussed in general previously, this lesson takes a more focused look at planning and shows the students how to estimate the needs and costs for a project as well as how to prepare a formal proposal.
