Before You Read

The title of the text you are about to read is "Cradle to Cradle." A cradle is a small bed where a baby sleeps. The word cradle is also used to describe the place where something began. Africa is often called "the cradle of civilization" because it was home to the first humans. Similarly, the English phrase from the cradle to the grave implies "from the beginning of life to the end." Keeping in mind these definitions of cradle, what do you think this article could be about based on the title "Cradle to Cradle"?
