Raymond Greenlaw and Ellen Hepp

Ray is a Professor and the Department Head in the Computer Science Department at Armstrong Atlantic State University. He is also the Regional Coordinator for Yamacraw. Ray received a B.A. in Mathematics from Pomona College in 1983, and an M.S. in Computer Science in 1986 and a Ph.D. in Computer Science in 1988 from the University of Washington. While attending graduate school, his interests in running and racing were regenerated by some "close friends." In 1995 Ray was on sabbatical in Barcelona. From 1989-1998 Ray worked in the Computer Science Department at the University of New Hampshire; he is still in touch with many of his great friends from New England.

Ellen Hepp is the mother of three active children. She received a BA from the University of Delaware in mathematics. After a few years devoted to full-time motherhood, she returned to receive an MS in computer science from the University of New Hampshire. Ellen is involved in issues relating to Internet use for young children. She enjoys cycling and skiing when she can get away.
