Fred T Hofstetter, University of Delaware

About the Authors

Fred T. Hofstetter was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. A graduate of St. Joseph’s College with a Ph.D. from Ohio State University, Dr. Hofstetter is Professor of Instructional Technology at the University of Delaware, where he coordinates the ed tech master’s and doctoral programs. Author of the GUIDO, PODIUM, and Serf software, he has written many books and articles about multimedia. Winner of a Gold CINDY award, he has lectured widely throughout Africa, Australia, Canada, Europe, the United States, and the Pacific Rim. Most recently he received the School of Education’s Distinguished Faculty Award. Dr. Hofstetter is also the author of McGraw-Hill’s Multimedia Literacy and Advanced Web Design texts.
