Exercise 10: Cnidaria (Coelenterata)
Exercise 10 is a study of three classes of cnidarians: Hydrozoa, Scyphozoa, and Anthozoa. It begins with a discussion of radiate, tissue-level organization and phylum characteristics. Slide and preserved specimens are used to study representatives of the three classes. Students study the relationships among the classes using a cladogram in worksheet 10.1.
