(12.0K) (18.0K) The last two editions of the Bennett/Nelson text and activity book have been accompanied by a kit of colored punch-out materials that are commonly used in schools. Now these materials are in the Digital Manipulative Kit and can be conveniently accessed and moved about the screen. Each of the nine manipulatives has a work area with toolbar and a notepad for recording data and results.

(14.0K) Pattern Blocks are usd to form geometric sequences and can be rotated, reflected, translated, and pasted together to form figures for answering questions about angles, symmetry, perimeter, area, and similarity.
(13.0K) Colored Tiles are placed on grids of varying size to form sequences of patterns, and can be used to illustrate factors, multiples, averages, areas, and perimeters.
(16.0K) Five regular Polygons for Tessellations form regular and semi-regular tessellations which can be easily reproduced and extended by pasting and duplicating.
(18.0K) Twenty-four red, blue, and yellow Attribute Pieces in two sizes and four shapes are sorted and classified onto grids and two-circle and three-circle Venn diagrams.
(12.0K) Black and Red Tiles based on a manipulative used by the Chinese over 2000 years ago illustrate equality, inequality, and the four basic operations on integers.
(12.0K) Numeration Pieces for bases 2 through 10 illustrate place value, divisibility properties, and the four basic operations on whole numbers.
(10.0K) Colored Fraction Bars with denominators of 2 through 12 illustrate equality, inequality, and the four basic operations on fractions.
(16.0K) Rubber bands in several colors are placed on Square Geoboards with dimensions of 2 through 10 to illustrate slopes of lines, irrational numbers, and area and perimeter of polygons. Also there is a 24-peg Circular Geoboard to illustrate polygons and angles.
(15.0K) Spinners with 2 through 12 parts are used for carrying out simulations and for determining experimental probabilities and fairness of games.
