1.5 lines  Line spacing that is one-and-one-half times that of single line spacing.
At least line spacing  Minimum line spacing that Word can adjust to accommodate larger font sizes or graphics.
At line spacing  Amount of line spacing selected by the user.
AutoCorrect  A feature to automatically detect and correct typos, misspelled words, grammatical errors, and incorrect capitalization.
Case  Refers to whether the text is in uppercase (all capital letters) or lowercase (all small letters).
Click and Type  A feature that allows quick insertion of text, graphics, tables, or other items in a blank area of a document; automatically applies the formatting necessary to position the item where the user double-clicked.
Double line spacing  Twice that of single line spacing.
Exactly line spacing  Spacing that Word does not adjust.
Font  Overall design for a set of characters.
Format Painter  Speedy way to copy text, titles, and paragraph formats that contain specific fonts and appearances from one place in a document to another.
Formatting  Organizing the appearance of text on the page.
Gutter margin  A margin setting that adds extra space to the side or top margin of a document you plan to bind.
Hanging indent  First line or phrase against the left margin with remaining text indented a set amount from the left margin.
Highlighting  A transparent colored bar over selected text.
Margin  Blank space around the edges of the page.
Mirror margin  Margins of the left page are a mirror image of those of the right page. That is, the inside margins are the same width, and the outside margins are the same width.
Multiple line spacing  Increased or decreased by a percentage specified by the user.
Negative indent  Text extends beyond the horizontal margin set for the rest of the text.
Points  Units of measurement for type.
Redo  Perform an editing change again.
Shortcut menu  A menu that shows a list of commands relevant to a particular item; evoked with a right-click of the mouse button.
Single line spacing  Accommodates the largest font in that line, plus a small amount of extra space.
Typeface  Overall design of a font's characters.
Typography  Style and appearance of printed matter or the arrangement of composed type.
Undo  Cancels editing changes.
