Carol Yacht is a textbook author and educator. Carol contributes regularly to professional journals and is the author of Peachtree, QuickBooks, and Excel textbooks. She started teaching computer accounting in 1978. Her teaching experience includes Yavapai College; West Los Angeles Community College; California State University, Los Angeles; and Beverly Hills High School and Adult School. Carol is the editor of the Communicator, the American Accounting Association’s two-year college section publication. She worked for IBM Corporation as an education instruction specialist, and served on the Computer Education Task Force for the National Business Education Association. Carol is a frequent speaker at state, regional, and national conventions; technical school consortium meetings; and Department of Education conferences. She earned her AS degree from Temple University, BS degree from the University of New Mexico, and MA degree from California State University, Los Angeles.
