This chapter continues the discussion of CE amplifiers and shows you
how to calculate the voltage gain and the ac voltages from the circuit
values. This is important when troubleshooting because you can
measure the ac voltages to see whether they are in reasonable
agreement with theoretical values. This chapter also discusses input
impedance, multistage amplifiers, and negative feedback. The CC and
CB amplifier configurations will be discussed in Chap. 11.
