Review:Overviewing a textbook (also called previewing or surveying) is a one-time procedure that should be done at the beginning of the semester. The purpose is to familiarize yourself with the features of the textbook so that you can use them to full advantage from the beginning of the semester. It includes surveying a typical chapter to see the features each chapter includes.
Directions: Six common textbook features are listed below. Match each feature with its description.
