Amigos sin Fronteras Video

Our Video Program: Amigos sin Fronteras

The characters who appear in the Tu mundo program are all members of a student club called Amigos sin Fronteras (Friends without Borders). As the name suggests, our characters are from all over the Hispanic world. The members of Amigos sin Fronteras (AsF) meet to socialize, share food, go dancing, listen to music, and help each other out. Some of these characters are U.S.-born, some are immigrants, some are foreign students, and a couple of them live and go to school in their native countries.

Each chapter focuses on one of the fifteen characters and his or her home country in depth. These people share stories about their countries, families, and customs. It is through the Amigos sin Fronteras characters that the Spanish-speaking world is presented and through which the Introductory Spanish student can explore his or her own culture from a variety of different perspectives.
