Modern video archiving methods allow video producers to do more than store their content. Systems can now identify the key elements of video and transcribe the audio and read text on the screen. Transcripts are also made available at times, even if streaming video is not. Some sites provide a searchable database. Several companies have made transcripts or video databases available on the Internet including CNN, BBC, and CSPAN. Do at least three searches for transcripts or video. Did you get what you wanted? How accurate were the results?

3. Internet Television.

Go to YouTube and explore the range of content offerings. Explore the original posting, and the responses it has generated. Can you find something that is specifically related to one of your interests, or your hometown?
