Fundamentals of Digital Logic with Verilog Design provides a modern approach for teaching the design of logic circuits. It is intended for an introductory course in digital logic design. The text combines the classical treatment of logic circuits with the techniques that make use of contemporary CAD tools. Basic concepts are introduced using simple circuits, which are then used to design more complex, realistic circuits that are found in practical digital systems. The standard Verilog hardware description language is an integral part of design techniques used throughout the book. Numerous detailed examples are given, ranging from circuits with only a few logic elements to systems such as a simple processor.
