McGraw-Hill Connect Engineering is a web-based assignment and assessment platform that gives students the means to better connect with their coursework, with their instructors, and with the important concepts that they will need to know for success now and in the future. With Connect Engineering, instructors can deliver assignments, quizzes and tests easily online. Students can practice important skills at their own pace and on their own schedule. Other resources available online include animations, FE Exam questions, Lecture PowerPoints, and images from the text.

Hands on Mechanics: A website designed for instructors who are interested in incorporating three-dimensional, hands-on teaching aids into their lectures. Developed through a partnership between the McGraw-Hill Engineering Team and the Department of Civil and Mechanical Engineering at the United States Military Academy at West Point, this website not only provides detailed instructions for how to build 3-D teaching tools using materials found in any lab or local hardware store, but also provides a community where educators can share ideas, trade best practices, and submit their own original demonstrations for posting on the site. Visit www.handsonmechanics.com.

C.O.S.M.O.S: Available to instructors only, this solutions manual tool helps instructors streamline the creation of assignments, quizzes, and tests by using problems and solutions from the textbook, as well as their own custom material. Instructors can edit textbook end of chapter problems as well as track which problems have been assigned.

Instructor’s and Solutions Manual: All instructors are provided with a print solutions manual showing one problem and solution per page. The manual also provides a detailed classification and description of the topics covered in the text as well as homework problem assignment grids, which provide suggested assignment schedules for six semesters.
