The Authors

Simon Bennett is a Systems Architect with GEHE UK in Coventry, UK. He was previously at Ericsson Intracom, and prior to that a Principal Lecturer in the Department of Information Systems and a member of the Centre for Computational Intelligence at De Montfort University. He is one of the authors of Schaum's Outline of UML.

Steve McRobb is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Information Systems at De Montfort University, where he teaches e-commerce systems and strategy, systems analysis and design and information systems management. He is currently researching ethical issues related to e-commerce, and for some years has been programme leader of the Business Information Systems degree.

Ray Farmer is Associate Dean in the School of Mathematical and Information Sciences at Coventry University. His major research interests are in information systems analysis and design, and in particular, object technology. He regularly acts as a consultant on object-oriented analysis and design in the UK and internationally.
