Peter Birch Sørensen is Professor of Economics at the University of Copenhagen and Director of the university’s Economic Policy Research Unit. He has published numerous articles on issues in public economics and macroeconomics. He is Chairman of the Danish Economic Council, an advisory body to the Danish government and parliament, and he has served as a consultant on tax policy for the OECD, the European Commission and the International Monetary Fund. Hans Jørgen Whitta-Jacobsen is Professor of Economics at the University of Copenhagen and Vice Dean of the university’s Faculty of Social Sciences. He has published extensively on issues reaching from microeconomics and game theory to macroeconomics. He has served as a consultant for the Danish government on tax reform and as a reporter on economic issues for the main Danish public service TV channel. |
