It is probably not surprising to most to find out that adolescence can be a particularly difficult time for girls. The research supports this and finds that depression in particularly is much higher for adolescent girls than it is for adolescent boys. Discuss some reasons why this trend exists, and then speculate on some strategies you would introduce to help reduce depression among adolescent girls.
