Big Question Overview and Resources

Overview

Frustrated. Helpless. Confused. Not knowing what to do in a difficult situation can make you feel bad. When you find yourself in a tough place, how do you deal with it? Where do you turn? Everyone has been in this position at one time or another. It is not a fun place to be, but knowing that other people have felt this way too might make you feel better. Reading about other people's experiences in tough situations can help you think of what to do when you don't know what to do.

Poetry is different from other types of literature. Poetry can help you think about the ups and downs of life in new ways.
