Introduction
“The Land of Opportunity” is how many people describe America. Do you agree? Throughout history, people have immigrated to America from other countries in search of a better life. What kind of life do you think immigrants are seeking? America is known as “A Melting Pot” because people of so many ethnicities and cultural backgrounds have made America their home. As American history has progressed, people’s ideas of the American Dream have changed. What is your opinion about the American Dream?

1.Sample Song

To the tune of “Yankee Doodle Dandee”

All the different kinds of people
America is our home
Freedom, hope, and MLB [Major League Baseball]
And lots of space to roam
Can’t ya hear the children laughing?
Smell the opportunity
Pizza, free speech and elections
This is the American Dream!
