After installing QuickBooks desktop software, follow the screen prompts to install updates. 

NOTE: The license number needed for software installation is included on the License and Product Number Code Card packaged with your textbook. The license number can be used one time. 

If you purchased a used textbook, the license number may have already been used by a previous owner. Since the license number can be used only one time, the QuickBooks software may have expired.
