About the Author

G. Dennis Rains received his Ph.D. from Cornell University in Clinical Neuropsychology in 1981, conducting his thesis research with Brenda Milner at the Montreal Neurological Institute, McGill University. Dr. Rains has extensive clinical experience, serving as a Fellow in Neurology and Neurosurgery at McGill University for three years and as Senior Psychologist at Friends Hospital (psychiatric) in Philadelphia for eight years. His teaching experience includes teaching physiological psychology at both the graduate and undergraduate levels at Hahnemann University and at the undergraduate level at Kutztown University. Dr. Rains has also taught Neuropsychology at the University of Pennsylvania, Hahnemann University, Kutztown University, and Bryn Mawr College. He currently is in his fourteenth year of teaching at Kutztown University, where he is a Professor of Psychology.
