Joe gets $100 in benefits from attending the Tragically Hip concert if he gets a good seat. His benefits would be $55 for an average seat. Tickets go on sale Saturday morning at 8 am for $40. To get a good seat ticket, Joe will have to wait in line for 4 hours. If Joe buys his ticket later in the day, he can get an average seat without waiting in line. Joe could also buy a good seat from a "scalper" on the day of the concert. The "scalpers charge $80 for a good seat. If Joe values his time at $7 per hour, what should Joe do? What must the value of Joe's time be to make him just willing to buy from a "scalper"?
