These overheads have been prepared using Power Point 2007. To ensure that they display properly Power Point 2007 or later should be used.

A free Latex plugin called Iguana Tex has been used for mathematical formulas in a number of places. The Latex code is compiled into an image that is inserted into the Power Point slides. The user of these slides does not need to have Iguana Tex installed in order to display, delete, or move the Latex images. Additionally, if the power point slides are converted to PDF format, the Latex images will appear just fine.

If the user wishes to modify the formulas, then he/she will need to install Iguana Tex. It is relatively easy to install. The instructions are given on the Iguana Tex site. For someone who knows some Latex, it is not difficult to use.

In many places where questions are posed and answers are given, the animation feature of Power Point is used. The user needs to either hit the space bar or the arrow key to have the answer to the question displayed. Please make certain that the animation feature is activated in the Slide Show mode. Also, if the user wishes to modify this portion, it is necessary to click on Animations and then on Custom Animations in order to see the relative timings of the portions on the page.
