A wizard is an online guide that helps you complete a task.
The AutoContent Wizard provides step-by-step guidance to help you create a presentation. It creates a complete presentation with sample text that suggests appropriate content.
You can edit the sample text in an AutoContent-generated presentation by using any normal editing methods.
Before keying text in a placeholder, activate it by clicking inside it.
To change the order of slides in a presentation, use either the Outline pane or Slide Sorter view. Select the slides you want to move; then drag them to a new location. You can also delete selected slides.
Right-clicking a word flagged with a red wavy line provides a shortcut list of suggested spelling corrections. You can spell-check an entire presentation at one time by using the Spelling and Grammar dialog box.
When AutoCorrect is activated, PowerPoint’s AutoCorrect feature automatically changes common errors that it detects. A smart tag—the AutoCorrect Options button (0.0K)—alerts you of the change and enables you to undo it.
When the Style Checker feature is activated, a light-bulb icon (0.0K) alerts you to possible style errors. To make sure you see all possible light-bulb alerts, navigate through your presentation by using the Slides pane’s navigation tools.
Use the Thesaurus to find words with similar meanings.
The Find feature and the Replace feature search your entire presentation for specified text. The Replace feature enables you to automatically make changes to matching text it finds.
Slide transitions add visual interest to slide shows. They can be applied to individual slides, a group of slides, or an entire slide presentation.
Headers and footers can appear at the top and bottom of notes and handout pages. Footers can also appear at the bottom of slides. They are commonly used to provide page numbers, dates, and other identifying information common to an entire presentation.
