Children raised with more influence from fathers may have the opportunity to be exposed to different parent methods, they may also have fathers who have the same style and support and reinforce mother's childrearing styles. This trend's effect on attachment could mean that the child will develop a closer attachment to more than one person and this would be appear to be an advantage to a child. Children who can learn from the modeling of both mothers and fathers have the advantage of experiencing the qualities that society has always seen as strongly male or strongly female.
