He has a B.S. and M.S. in zoology from Brigham Young University and a Ph.D. in anatomy from the University of Pennsylvania.
Philip Tate

From the community college to the private four-year college, Phil Tate has taught anatomy and physiology to all levels of students: nursing and allied health, physical education, and biology majors. At San Diego State University, Phil earned B.S. degrees in both mathematics and zoology and a M.S. in ecology. He earned his doctorate in biological education from Idaho State University.
