1		Traveling to foreign countries is my passion. I spent every vacation day and a lot of money on trips out of the country. I know that my interesting in other countries came from. I grew up in a small town which everyone spoke English. was a time when many people suspicious of foreign. The only contact who I have with people from other places was my Mexican pen-pal. I start writing to Jose when I take my first Spanish class in high school. Everyone in the class which wants a pen-pal got one but Jose and I were the only ones that continued to write to each other for years. From Jose, I learn about Mexican families, Mexican history and Mexican traditional. I amazed to find out that people in other countries see things a little differently from us. I'm sure that he learned a lot about the United States from me. Jose and I don't write anymore. Now we talk on the telephone and visited every year or two. I will always have grateful to him for showing me a world beyond my small town.
