I went to Madrid last August. Skiing in Switzerland is fun too. I don't like to visit cities. For example, New York is very crowded. The town where I live isn't crowded. But there is a big university here. The students like to have parties. I plan to go to college in a different town. I really like to travel.

I think I've learned more from traveling than I have in school. Every summer I travel to a new country. I always stay with a family from that country. I also try to study the language. I think it's interesting to learn different customs, but it can also be difficult. Sometimes I make embarrassing mistakes. But people usually understand and forgive you.

Carolyn has been studying in London for about six months. She likes it a lot, but she doesn't like the weather. It's often rainy, and it can be cold even in July. However, she loves the English people. She says that they are very kind and friendly. She particularly likes the people at her university although they sometimes laugh at her funny accent.

I'm good at languages. I enjoy studying Chinese. However, I'm very bad at math. I like geography, but history is better. I always get good grades, but some classes are more work than others. My teachers are good, and I ask for help if I need it. I plan to graduate next year. Then I have to find a job.
