Creating a Newsletter
ConceptsThe following concepts will be introduced in this lab:
- WordArt: WordArt is used to enhance your documents by changing the shape of text and adding special effects such as 3-D and shadows.
- Special Drawing Effects: Special drawing effects, such as shadows and 3-D effects, can be easily added to text and graphics, including WordArt objects, to enhance the appearance of your document.
- Collecting and Pasting: Collecting and pasting is the capability of the program to store multiple copied items in the Office Clipboard and then paste one or more of them into another document.
- Newsletter-Style Columns: Newsletter-style columns display text so that it flows from the bottom of one column to the top of the next.
- Hyphenation: The hyphenation feature inserts hyphens in long words that fall at the end of a line, splitting the word between lines.
- Text Box: A text box is a graphic object that is a container for text or graphics.
