Creating a Newsletter

Concepts

The following concepts will be introduced in this lab:
  1. WordArt: WordArt is used to enhance your documents by changing the shape of text and adding special effects such as 3-D and shadows.
  2. Special Drawing Effects: Special drawing effects, such as shadows and 3-D effects, can be easily added to text and graphics, including WordArt objects, to enhance the appearance of your document.
  3. Collecting and Pasting: Collecting and pasting is the capability of the program to store multiple copied items in the Office Clipboard and then paste one or more of them into another document.
  4. Newsletter-Style Columns: Newsletter-style columns display text so that it flows from the bottom of one column to the top of the next.
  5. Hyphenation: The hyphenation feature inserts hyphens in long words that fall at the end of a line, splitting the word between lines.
  6. Text Box: A text box is a graphic object that is a container for text or graphics.
