Creating Complex Tables and Merging Documents

Concepts

The following concepts will be introduced in this lab:
  1. Formulas and Functions: Formulas and functions are used to perform calculations in tables.
  2. Charts: A chart, also called a graph, is a visual representation of numeric data.
  3. Mail Merge: The Mail Merge feature combines a list of data (typically a file of names and addresses) with a document (commonly a form letter) to create a new document.
  4. Data Source: The data source file is a table of information that contains data fields in the columns and records in the rows.
  5. Field Name: Field names are used to label the different data fields in the data source.
