Creating a Presentation for a Kiosk and the Web

Concepts

The following concepts will be introduced in this lab:
  1. Animated GIF: An animated GIF file is a type of graphic file that has motion.
  2. WordArt: The WordArt feature is used to enhance slides by changing the shape of text, adding 3-D effects, and changing the alignment of text on a line.
  3. Sound and Movie Files: Almost all PCs today are equipped with multimedia capabilities, which mean they can play the most commonly used sound and movie files.
  4. Custom Show: A custom show is a presentation that runs within a presentation.
  5. Hyperlink: Hyperlinks provide a quick way to jump to other slides, custom shows, presentations, objects, e-mail addresses, or Web pages.
  6. Hypertext Markup Language: All Web pages are written using a programming language called Hypertext Markup Language (HTML). HTML commands control how the information on a page, such as font colors and size, is displayed.
