Set the field to 45°. Set the deep sky display so that only galaxies are shown and only Messier objects are shown.
Center the display on the constellation Virgo. Move to the center of the concentration of Messier objects above and
to the right (northeast) of Virgo. Set the field to 15°. Turn "Draw Messiers Only" to off. Count the number of galaxies in the field. Center the display on the constellation Andromeda and count the galaxies in the field. Repeat for
the constellations Antlia, Apus, and Aquarius. How can you account for the different numbers of galaxies you see
in the different fields?
