Information About NetTutorTM

NetTutorTM is a web-based graphical chat, threaded and platform independent, allowing students to use their own computers to access learning materials in a non-linear fashion or in realtime with live corresponding tutors. Instructors are provided with the tools needed for easy management of classrooms and subject materials.

The Advantages of NetTutorTM

NetTutorTM is far more than just the WWWhiteboardTM interaction tool.
  • Web-based — instructors and students can access the same interface from home or their office regardless of platform or browser
  • No need to purchase additional hardware or software — all you need is a modem and a connection to the internet
  • 24 hour access — accommodates the most difficult schedules, and offers convenience to online content
  • Archived materials — questions need not be answered twice and students do not have to wait if tutors are busy
  • Keyword search — convenient access to materials
  • Session sharing — made possible via email and within the NetTutorTM environment
  • Management of classrooms — easy with web interface
  • Secure — password protected
  • Firewalls — automatically detects and is fully functional within the constraints set by the firewall
  • Live interaction — via the WWWhiteboardTM, which is far more than a "chat"
