John T. Rourke teaches courses ranging from introduction to international relations; through U.S. foreign policy; national security, and other advanced undergraduate courses; to foreign policy analysis and other graduate seminars. His writing includes undergraduate textbooks and readers in international relations and foreign policy and monographs that focus on democracy in the foreign policy process.

Brian P. Janiskee, Ph.D., is Assistant Professor of Political Science at California State University, San Bernardino. He received his Ph.D. from Michigan State University, and has also taught at Central Connecticut State University and James Madison College. Professor Janiskee has published many academic articles in such publications as Talking Politics: The Journal of the Politics Association; Nexus: The Public Policy Journal of the Chapman University Law School; Duquesne Law Review; Journal of Public Service; Outreach; Investor’s Business Daily; and Dushkin/McGraw-Hill’s WebQuester: American Government; and he was the winner of the National Best Chapter Award, Pi Sigma Alpha, National Political Science Honor Society, for his work as faculty advisor at Cal State/San Bernardino.
