In the following survey you are asked to answer a number of questions about how you define your individual and political identity. As we discuss in Chapter 4, the way you identify yourself as an individual who lives within the world political economic system affects the way you perceive, interpret, and act upon issues in international relations. How does your identity mesh with the identities of others around you? How are those identities translated into action and policy in the country in which you reside as well as outside its borders?
