Sara is in Southern Tuscany, in the sunny province of Siena. She is here to visit San Galgano, an abbey of which only ruins remain, and the little Church of Montesiepi, where the famous “sword in the stone” from the Medieval knight Galgano Guidotti is preserved. She has never heard of it and she is very curious to see it after hearing the story of how Galgano renounced violence and forced the sword into the rock, around which a church was later built.
