The following is a playlist designed to accompany Vis-à-vis Beginning French, 5th edition. Students and instructors can purchase individual songs or the entire playlist for use at home or in the classroom. To access this playlist, you must have the iTunes application program installed on your computer. If you do not yet have this software, it is available as a free download at http://www.apple.com/itunes. To view the Vis-à-vis playlist:
1) Open iTunes and connect to the iTunes Store.
2) Find and click on the Music link within the store.
3) Find the More to Explore box and click on the iMix link.
4) Select iMix Name (on the dropdown search menu) and then enter VIS-A-VIS in the Search for box. (Note: Do not use Search All).
If you have the most recent version of iTunes installed on your computer, the playlist can be accessed directly by clicking this link. If you can’t understand all the lyrics of a song, don’t despair. Look them up online using the song title and/or artist as well as the keyword “paroles”! Videos of many of these selections are available at YouTube.
