Analyzing the Organization of Comparison Paragraphs

The paragraph below, comparing writing essays to writing stories, is organized like this:

xxxxx yyyyy xxxxx yyyyy xxxxx yyyyy
xxxxx yyyyy xxxxx yyyyy

Rewrite it so that it is organized like this:

xxxxx xxxxx xxxxx xxxxx xxxxx xxxxx
xxxxx xxxxx xxxxx xxxxx xxxxx xxxxx
On the other hand, yyyyy yyyyy yyyyy
yyyyy yyyyy yyyyy yyyyy yyyyy

Make any other changes that you think are necessary.

Writing essays is easier than writing stories. When you write an essay, you have to give your opinion and support it. When you write a story, however, you have to rely on your imagination in order to make the story interesting. Writing essays only requires the ability to think logically. In contrast, in order to write good stories, you have to be extremely creative. You can do research when you write an essay. You can read about the topic and use data and the opinions of experts to support your argument. When you write a story, you are on your own. There is no reference book that will help you decide what should happen next. Because I have more faith in my ability to think rationally than in my creativity, I would rather have to write five essays than just one story.
