Principles of project and risk management are covered by some excellent online course notes. These are provided by Dave Farthing of the University of Glamorgan.

The Cetus site provides a wide range of links for advanced topics in project management.

One link that is particularly worth following from the previous site is to the New Grange Center for Project Management. Among other resources, this has a public discussion forum for IT project managers.
