Chapter Overview

One of the most important goals of learning is developing the ability to apply facts, concepts, and theories in new situations.

In this chapter you will learn and practice the following skills:

  • applying given theories, ideas, or facts in a different situation
  • applying remembered ideas in a different situation

Twenty percent of the questions on the GED Social Studies Test will require you to demonstrate good application skills.
