About the Author

Jerry Howett

Jerry Howett studied mathematics and anthropology at Ohio State University and architecture at City College of New York.

His first teaching job was as a VISTA Volunteer at a Job Corps center in Minnesota. Later he taught at several adult education programs in New York City including Mobilization for Youth, New York Hospital, Malcolm-King College, and Consolidated Edison.

Jerry divides his time between New York City and a barn in upstate New York.
