Please note the following corrections for errors in the text: Page 3: In the fifth line of EXAMPLE 1.1 "..., they are systematically too small" should become "..., they are systematically too large" Page 12: Corrected equation 1.10 (53.0K) Page 22: the error is given as ± 0.15 when it should be ±0.015. (or to be picky, ±.016 because ±.0158 should round up) Page 105: equation 6.10, the second line should have a factor of Xi within the brackets. The second line of 6.11 returns the factor dropped in 6.10 Page 201: Last line of Equation 11.25, 1/N should be 1/N^2
