You were asked to help a neighbor’s child with a science fair project. The school running the science fair is interested in projects that show how microbes are used to manufacture food. Luckily you remembered learning in microbiology class that bread, cheese, sauerkraut and soy sauce are made using microorganisms. Use the Web to locate simple "recipes" for preparing these foods and use the recipes to come up with food production experiments suitable for the science fair.
