- Working from the printout, choose one paragraph. Underline possessive nouns twice. Write "S" above the possessive noun if the noun is possessive singular. Write "P" above the possessive noun if the noun is possessive plural.
- Write a topic sentence about a subject in the printed article. Write two additional sentences about the subject. Underline any compound nouns once and underline any possessive nouns twice. Circle any plural nouns.
